&pageText=When applying risk management to METT-TC during mission analysis, you should look for hazards that affect both tactical and accident risks. The factors of Mission, Enemy, Terrain and Weather, Troops, – Time available, and Civil considerations (METT-TC) provide a sound framework for identifying hazards when planning, preparing, and executing operations.& &popText1=You must first analyze the assigned mission to determine the risk associated with that mission.& &popText2=You must look for enemy capabilities that pose significant hazards to the operation.& &popText3=The most obvious hazards to military operations are due to terrain and weather.& &popText4=You must analyze the capabilities of available friendly troops.& &popText5=The hazard here is insufficient time to plan, prepare, and execute operations.& &popText6=The hazard here is how the attitudes and activities of the civilian leaders, populations, and organizations within an area of operations will influence the conduct of military operations.&
